Registered Nurse - PreOp/PACU Float
Job Summary
We are hiring a PreOP/PACU Registered Nurse for our Surgical Services Float Pool team. This position involves working with various conditions, procedures, and acuity levels at our Plaza location, which is a Magnet Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center.
Shift Details
We are proud to offer differential wage rates for this Float Pool position. You will have the opportunity to float to Saint Luke's Hospital, Saint Luke's East, Saint Luke's North, and Saint Luke's South. This position is 4-10 hour shifts weekly with a rotating bi-weekly template. Scheduled locations are decided 4-6 weeks in advance.
Work Functions
- Work independently and be accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Delegate tasks appropriately.
- Identify hospital resources.
- Serve as a clinical resource for new employees.
- Demonstrate positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

Job Requirements
- Applicable Experience: 2 years
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Associate Degree
