Registered Nurse- Float

About the role

The Float Pool RN supports Med Surg, ED, and Long Term Care units at Allen County Regional Hospital and Anderson County Hospital. This role functions as both a bedside nurse and clinical resource nurse, ensuring staffing needs are met across day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
• Perform and delegate patient care tasks
• Supervise other patient care staff
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients
• Consult with other members of the health care team for optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures

Requirements

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various
• Associate Degree
