Position Summary

To plan, coordinate and implement aspects of pre-admission testing functions and provide instructions to patients to ensure completion of ordered tests and procedures prior to admission.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.

Experience

  • Minimum one-year general staff nursing experience.

Special Skills

  • CPR certifications (BLS, PALs, ACLS).
  • Physical and cognitive requirements: Full range of body motion including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, standing, sitting, reaching, filing, typing, and photocopying.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including speech clarity, understanding the information relayed, deductive and inductive reasoning skills, and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to function competently in stressful situations and changing work environments.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within the health system and multidisciplinary team members.

$47.80 - $59.75 per hour
