Registered Nurse Pre Op PACU

About the role

The RN Pre-op/PACU is responsible for providing quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. They support the mission, vision, and values of Franklin Surgery Center.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations.
• Safeguards the health and safety of patients and staff.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in TN.
• Strong pediatric experience required.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 1-3 years' previous experience in Pre and/or post-operative care or ICU.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
• Must have current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Preferred current PALS certification.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Must understand aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Must be able to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient.

Pay

$20k sign-on bonus available.

No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.
