Registered Nurse - Postpartum

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. They utilize technology, evidence-based practices, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. Key Responsibilities Assess: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, social, and psychological status, gathering information from various team members and patients.Plan: Develop individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and the healthcare team, including education and follow-up support.Implement: Direct and coordinate care delivery, delegate tasks appropriately, and manage resources efficiently.Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, revising care plans as needed.Professionalism: Uphold ethical standards, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain accurate documentation. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practice state with BLS certification.Experience less than 12 months requires obtaining a BSN within four years.Strong patient care, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. Physical & Additional Requirements: Ability to see, read, and communicate effectively; manual dexterity; physical ability to lift, transfer, and transport patients and equipment; and, for some roles, driving responsibilities.
