Registered Nurse - Postpartum

About the role

Deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure positive patient outcomes in accordance with organizational standards and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and evaluate care effectiveness
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Support professional development and maintain effective communication
• Prioritize safety, ethics, and utilize critical thinking to address patient needs across all age groups

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Neonate Resuscitation certification (within specified timeframe)
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Ability to handle medication per organizational guidelines
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills

No prior experience required.
