About the role
Registered Nurse in a General Surgery unit supporting adult patients with gastrointestinal (GI) and vascular diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and serve as a primary point of contact for patient needs.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assist with discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a multi‑state license recognized under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
