Registered Nurse - Post Surgical PACU

Responsibilities

• Maintains a high standard of professional practice and adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administers medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided accurately and timely.
• Evaluates patient learning needs and provides appropriate education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• A current ACLS certification required.
• A current PALS certification required.
