Registered Nurse - Post Surgical / Medical Surgical

Position Overview Provide direct nursing care in a post-operative bariatric unit specializing in weight loss surgeries like Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy.Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary team collaboration.Follow physician and nursing orders, and assist with discharge planning.Must hold a valid RN license or be eligible, with BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire. Qualifications & Skills Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.Diploma from an accredited nursing program and professional licensure at the time of hire.Ability to coordinate patient care effectively and communicate clearly with team members.
