Registered Nurse – Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation RN provides direct and indirect patient care, including assessment, education, and assistance with procedures. They coordinate care, manage patient communication via calls and online messaging, and support transitions of care. Ideal candidates possess a nursing degree from an accredited program, with at least one year of RN experience, demonstrating critical thinking, independence, and strong communication skills. Experience with electronic medical records and teamwork is preferred. Required licenses include a current RN license and BLS certification. Candidates may need additional state licensure or specialty certifications. Key responsibilities involve planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating nursing care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model, exhibiting leadership, mentoring, and quality improvement participation. Eligible for TN sponsorship, the role offers a salary range of $35.84 - $58.84 per hour, with benefits including health plans, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
