Responsibilities
- Independently deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process.
- Supervise and guide unlicensed assistive personnel in interdisciplinary care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Contribute to high-quality patient experiences and safety initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive maternity nursing care, utilize nursing processes in planning and evaluation, and promote safety and quality care in hospital settings.
- Travel between hospitals and adhere to shift and weekend requirements.
Requirements
- Current IL nursing license.
- Graduate of NLN-accredited school; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of two years recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery and postpartum care.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (AHA).
