About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem position on the Medical/Telemetry Unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care by assessing psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and diversity needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment
- Conduct purposeful hourly rounds to enhance safety and communication
- Collaborate with patients and families
- Minimize risks during handoffs using SBAR communication
- Ensure a safe, compassionate environment
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited RN program
- Current Nevada RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting
