Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Labor and Delivery

About the role

This position requires providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care in a clinical setting, focusing on assessment, care planning, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual aspects of patient and family care.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure safe handling.
• Participate in evidence-based practice decisions and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).

Skills

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing patient needs.
