Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Intermediate Care Unit - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, on the phone, and in writing.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice quality and effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current nursing license in Illinois.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Schedule

• Night shifts (7:00 pm - 7:30 am).
• Must work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including 24 hours on weekends.
• Participate in rotating holiday schedule.

Initial nursing orientation required.
