About the Role

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care on medical/surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise unlicensed personnel.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Promote safety and high-quality patient experiences.

Requirements

• Current Illinois nursing license.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school (BSN preferred).
• BLS certification.
• Active NIHSS certification.
• Minimum two years of recent acute care medical/surgical experience with telemetry competence.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in medical/surgical nursing.
• Telemetry proficiency.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently during evening shifts.
