About the role
Provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care on medical/surgical units as a Per Diem Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Independently deliver nursing care utilizing the nursing process for planning and evaluation
- Supervise unlicensed personnel
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
- Promote safety and quality patient experiences
- Provide patient care during evening shifts
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care
- Contribute to positive health outcomes
Requirements
- Current Illinois RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum two years recent acute care med/surg experience with telemetry competence
- Demonstrated competencies within 14 days of hire
