Registered Nurse - Per Diem
About the Role
University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages, and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers, and other medical facilities. We also serve as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.
We are looking for an experienced RN to work 1-2 days per diem from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM based on need in our East Brunswick, NJ Imaging Office.
Responsibilities
- Assist radiologists with emergency procedures
- Perform peripheral IV insertion
- Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the procedures performed
- Ensure the continued safe operation of emergency equipment
Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- IV and ACLS certifications required
- Critical care, emergency medicine, and/or radiology nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in emergency procedure skills and peripheral IV insertion
Pay
$46 per hour
Schedule
1-2 days per diem, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (based on need)
