Registered Nurse - Per Diem
About the Role
River Hospital's Convenient Care Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to work per diem. We are looking for a passionate, patient‑oriented Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care in an urgent care setting and is passionate about delivering quality patient care. As a Convenient Care RN, you will assess and treat patients in an urgent/convenient care setting while providing timely, compassionate care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients in an urgent/convenient care setting.
- Provide timely, compassionate patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
- Experience working in an urgent care setting (preferred).
- Strong interdisciplinary communication skills.
- BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire (courses offered onsite).
- Critical thinking skills.
