Role Overview

The position involves providing specialized pediatric acute care in a hospital setting, focusing on coordinating comprehensive patient care, executing physician and nurse orders accurately, monitoring patient conditions, and leading discharge planning and family education to ensure smooth transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines for seamless treatment plans.
• Execute orders: Provide high-quality, safe clinical care.
• Monitor patients: Communicate real-time condition changes to the team.
• Discharge planning: Lead patient and family education for safe transition home.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Registered Nurse license from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
