Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Nights

Role Overview Provide specialized nursing care in a 16-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with a focus on family-centered care. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a family-centered environment.Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans.Ensure safety and comfort of pediatric patients requiring intensive care.Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain accurate documentation. Qualifications And Skills Illinois RN license and at least an Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's required within five years if only Associate).Current BLS certification; PALS certification within three months of start date.Preferred: 2+ years of PICU pediatric experience. Key Duties Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.Participate in weekend and holiday rotations, primarily night shifts (7pm-7:30am).Maintain compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols.
