Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Nights

Role Overview: This position is for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing family-centered care in a 16-bed unit. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting.Coordinate with families and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain current certifications.Assist in patient assessments, treatments, and documentation.Participate in rotating night shifts, weekend, and holiday duties. Qualifications & Skills: Illinois RN license and minimum associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred).Current BLS certification; PALS certification required within three months.Preferred pediatric ICU experience.Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
