About the Role
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to acutely ill adults requiring close monitoring in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and manage complex medication regimens.
- Interpret cardiac and telemetry data to inform clinical decisions.
- Coordinate individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Support safe transitions of care and educate patients and families about their health.
- Advocate for patient needs to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Current nursing licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with cardiac and telemetry monitoring is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
