Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers, focusing on pre-operative and post-operative care. Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting any changes.Perform procedures and interventions as ordered.Accurately document care in medical records.Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Qualifications & Skills: RN license with a diploma, Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications (obtained within specified timeframes).
