About the role
Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering comprehensive patient care in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments and address patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans, including patient and family education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Provide direct patient care through treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies and protocols.
- Evaluate nursing interventions' effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to proactively meet patient needs and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence‑based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to a safe, compassionate, and patient‑centered care environment, ensuring optimal patient and family experiences.
- Actively participate in department and organizational safety and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
Skills
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and participate in decision‑making and safety programs.
Schedule
The role involves night shifts, as well as holiday and weekend work.
