About the Role
Join a dynamic nursing team as a Registered Nurse in a Regional Float Pool, providing care across multiple hospital facilities in the region. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills. This role involves floating to diverse units such as Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ICU, serving at least three facilities, including hospitals in the surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients.
- Provide care in diverse units, including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ICU.
- Collaborate with diverse care teams in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Current RN licensure.
- Recent bedside experience (minimum one year for Med/Surg, two years for ICU and other specialties).
Qualifications
- BLS certification (required).
- ACLS certification (required for critical care).
Physical Demands
- Walking and bending.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Patient handling.
