Registered Nurse - Part Time Nights

About the role

The Staff Nurse provides professional, technical nursing care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure age-appropriate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and build collaborative relationships with patients, families, and team members.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure safe medication and IV administration.
• Create a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to hospital standards and policies.
• Take responsibility for personal performance, professional growth, and continuous improvement of patient experience.
• Supervise and direct assigned team members and support educational processes.
• Other duties as assigned to promote quality care and team effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current nursing license in Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications as required.
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.
• Ability to handle confidential material and work effectively in a team environment.
