About the role
A Registered Nurse in the Regional Float Pool provides individualized adult/geriatric care across multiple hospital units, utilizing nursing theory for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with diverse teams
- Adapt to various units including Med/Surg, telemetry, stepdown, and ICU
- Serve at a minimum of three facilities within the region
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Current RN licensure
- At least one year bedside RN experience in Med/Surg or two years for other specialties
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS (for critical care)
- Physical demands: standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and patient handling
