Registered Nurse - Part Time - Night Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, using theoretical concepts to guide clinical decisions. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in compliance with nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Float across multiple hospital units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, Emergency, and Labor & Birth
• Collaborate with diverse care teams to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Maintain current licensure and certifications relevant to assigned units
• Perform physical tasks such as patient mobility, lifting, and positioning

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience; 2 years for specialized units
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP depending on unit
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
