Registered Nurse - Part Time

Role Overview

The Nurse independently provides routine and complex patient care within a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation. They develop long-term care plans, manage contingencies, and delegate tasks to other care providers to ensure quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to work part-time, primarily from 7AM to 7PM.
