About the role

A part-time Registered Nurse position providing direct and indirect patient care in the Day Surgery Unit and Preoperative Holding Area.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments across diverse patient populations.
• Manage pain and develop care plans based on physician orders and patient condition.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families, addressing psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Respond swiftly to changes in clinical status.
• Educate patients and families.
• Function as a liaison within the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Current Nevada RN license.
• ACLS & BLS certifications.
• Ability to deliver compassionate, respectful, and ethical care.
