Registered Nurse - Part Time

About the Role

A skilled registered nurse responsible for providing independent, comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting. Demonstrates proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while managing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine and complex nursing care in accordance with ANA standards and organizational competencies.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Accurately document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources and issues.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to care providers to ensure optimal patient management.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or with a compact license.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Ability to attend orientation, complete competency validations, and participate in residency or onboarding programs.
• Maintain annual competency verification.
• Obtain necessary certifications within designated grace periods based on experience level.

Schedule

Part-time position with a schedule from 7PM to 7AM.
