About the Role

A qualified nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care, while managing long-term goals and contingencies. The nurse delegates tasks appropriately to care team members to ensure effective clinical management.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care following established standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
  • Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
  • Assess educational needs and provide relevant education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state or a compact license.
  • Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
  • Completion of organizational orientation, competency validation, and annual requirements.
  • Participation in residency or specific orientation programs for new licenses.
  • Ability to obtain required certifications within specified grace periods.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.

Schedule

Part-time shifts from 7PM to 7AM.
