Registered Nurse - Part Time

About the Role

A skilled nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care while managing contingencies and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to care team members to manage clinical situations effectively.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Completion of onboarding, competency validation, and participation in orientation or residency programs as needed.
• Maintain current certifications within designated grace periods.
• Possess strong clinical judgment, delegation skills, and ability to address complex patient needs.
