Registered Nurse - Part Time (0.45 FTE) - Nights

About the Role

The Registered Nurse promotes and restores patient health through assessment, planning, and providing quality care in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. They support patients, families, and visitors by offering emotional, psychological, and spiritual care, while educating on disease processes, medications, and self-care. The nurse ensures adherence to safety, infection control, and documentation standards, maintains equipment and supplies, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. They foster a team-oriented environment, communicate effectively, and deliver culturally sensitive, patient-centered service. The role requires maintaining professional knowledge and contributing to practice advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate’s degree required; BSN preferred)
• Current New York State Registered Nurse licensure
• Basic Life Support certification (preferred)
