Registered Nurse - PACU - Per Diem

This Registered Nurse PACU role involves providing direct patient care in a perioperative environment, caring for patients from infant to geriatric populations. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care related to surgical and endoscopic proceduresmonitoring patients' physiological status postoperativelycommunicating with surgical and anesthesia teams for patient managementperforming head-to-toe assessments pre- and post-procedureadministering and educating on pain management and medicationsmaintaining regulatory compliance and hospital policiesparticipating in performance improvement activities Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN programcurrent Nevada nursing license, BLS, and ACLS certificationspreferably one year of full-time PACU experience or three years part-timeability to handle care with compassion, empathy, and teamworksuccessful passing of pre-employment assessments Ideal candidates demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and pain management skills within a compassionate, ethical, and team-oriented work environment.
