About the role
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit is a six-bed facility that provides Phase I recovery to over 4000 patients a year. Nurses provide professional nursing care and coordinate care planning with other disciplines for patients recovering from anesthesia.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines for patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
Requirements
- RN license – New Hampshire state or any other compact state.
- Minimum 1‑year prior PACU or critical care experience (preferred).
- BCLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- CPAN or CAPA certification (preferred).
- BSN degree (preferred).

Schedule
- Full‑time position.
- Day shift, 72 hours per pay period.
- Variable shift times, Monday‑Friday.
- Weekend call and holidays rotation required.
