Registered Nurse - Inpatient PACU

About the Role

We are seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide inpatient care across various Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU), including Pediatric, general, and eye surgery settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, direct patient care tailored to age-specific needs
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients post-surgery and anesthesia
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications, assist with procedures, and ensure patient safety
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning
• Assume leadership roles, including relief charge duties and precepting new staff
• Adhere to hospital policies, documentation standards, and safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in the state or reciprocal licensure
• CPR/BLS certification (must obtain within 30 days if not already held)
• Completion of IV verification within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages)
• Specialty certifications
