About the role
We are seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse PACU at Community Hospital. This position offers a $7,500 sign on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to surgical patients in the PACU according to policy and procedure and care standards.
- Maintains knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes during surgery and anticipated complications.
- Collaborates with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team to manage and deliver patient care.
- Assists the anesthesiologist and surgeon with patient-related care activities.
- Works as a team member within the entire facility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma required.
- Minimum of one year experience in PACU or acute care preferred.
- AHA BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire, if not currently certified.
- AHA ACLS required within 120 days of hire if not currently certified.
- AHA PALS required within 120 days of hire if not currently certified.
