Registered Nurse - PACU - Days

Role: Registered Nurse Location: Evanston, with travel to other hospitals Type: Part-time Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74/hour, based on experience and expertise Key Responsibilities Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care across patient populations, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.Engage patients and families in care planning, ensuring regulatory compliance and accountability for care outcomes.Supervise and guide unlicensed nursing staff to deliver interdisciplinary patient care.Collaborate with healthcare team members, including nurses and physicians, to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.Administer perioperative care for patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).Manage Phase 1 & 2 peri-anesthesia care for patients from Operating Rooms and supporting areas. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an approved nursing program; BSN preferred.Active IL RN license.Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; PACU, ICU, or Behavioral Health experience preferred.Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.CPAN/CAPA certifications are advantageous.
