Registered Nurse PACU

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a sterile, safe environment by applying aseptic techniques to prevent infection during recovery.
• Monitoring patient responses to treatments and anesthesia, identifying clinical changes to adjust care plans.
• Managing post-operative pain with evidence-based interventions to ensure patient comfort.
• Anticipating patient needs by leveraging knowledge of surgical procedures and physiology for seamless recovery.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or home state license if multi-state/Compact.
• Current Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months; BLS within 1 month; Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at hire.
