Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery - Days

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to assess, manage, and coordinate nursing care during patients' hospital stays using a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments, including post-op and transfer evaluations.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, lab data, and physician orders.
• Implement and document nursing interventions, administer medications, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensure safety and infection control practices.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions, address risks, and involve families in decision-making.
• Deliver age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain professional competence, adhere to safety protocols, and promote service excellence with compassionate communication.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current RN licensure in applicable states with BLS certification.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing demands.
• Commitment to infection control, safety, and professional development.
