Registered Nurse - Outpatient Oncology

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for outpatient oncology services, providing comprehensive patient care in a Hematology/Medical Oncology Unit and Infusion Center. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, professional growth, and adherence to organizational policies.

The position involves physical activity, including walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, utilizing clinical data and demonstrating sound clinical judgment.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient care, treatment, and education, ensuring safety, medication administration, and proper documentation.
• Evaluate patient responses, revise care plans as needed, and ensure patients and families understand their care through effective education methods.
• Exhibit professionalism, leadership, and teamwork by guiding care delivery, delegating tasks, and participating in problem-solving and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in evidence-based practice, research activities, and compliance with certification and training requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Valid RN license in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay

$35.34 to $47.13 per hour.
