About the role
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients undergoing medical oncology treatments in an outpatient setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications accurately and safely
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and report adverse effects
- Document patient care activities and progress in medical records
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases
- Provide education to patients and families on disease management and treatment options
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Experience in oncology nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
