Responsibilities

  • Independently provide care to adult patients with a focus in medical and surgical oncologic specialties such as breast, GYN and neuroendocrine tumors.
  • Work with a dedicated team to deliver evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment.
  • Serve as a resource for other team members.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam.
  • BLS upon hire.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Oncology Nurse Certified (OCN) preferred, or agreement to certify within one year of hire.
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused.

Qualifications

  • One to two years of clinical nursing experience in oncology, strongly preferred.
  • Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.

Skills

  • CPR/BLS upon hire.
  • Oncology Nurse Certified (OCN) preferred, or agreement to certify within one year of hire.
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused.

Pay

Min USD $37.75/Hr. Max USD $67.95/Hr.
