About the Role
Registered Nurse (RN) position in a hybrid 17-bed Orthopedic/Neuroscience unit specializing in acute CVA, TIA, and post-operative orthopedic and spinal surgery patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Oversee care activities and ensure documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with support teams and healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families
- Communicate effectively to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Deliver safe, patient-centered care
- Coordinate multidisciplinary activities
- Participate in quality initiatives
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN licensure in Georgia
- BCLS certification
- Additional specialty certifications as required (e.g., ACLS, PALS)
- New graduates are eligible; hospital experience preferred
