About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. He/she ensures adherence to organizational policies, maintains professional standards, and coordinates care activities among staff to deliver quality nursing services.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- New graduates are eligible
- Prior hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Current RN licensure in Georgia
- BLS certification
Certifications
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, specialty-specific credentials) required based on department and specialty
- Certain certifications needed within specified timeframes
