Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Med/Surg - Full-Time

About the role

Provides clinical leadership and direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care based on evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team, and set measurable goals for discharge and ongoing care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor care quality, safety, and outcomes.
• Utilize performance data to improve care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients and families, respect cultural and spiritual needs, and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain professional licensure, adhere to policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards (TJC, CMS, SC DPH).
• Serve as a patient advocate to facilitate seamless care transitions.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred).
• At least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/training.
• Current RN license recognized in the practice state.

Schedule
