About the Role
This role involves providing professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform scrub functions such as handling instruments and supplies.
- Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions.
- Assist surgeons with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse with licensure from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum one year of RN experience.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, patient care, and operating room protocols.
