About the role

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, serving as a resource for patients and families. This PRN position involves flexible scheduling based on departmental needs, supporting a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in various surgical specialties, including trauma, cardiothoracic, vascular, ENT, plastics, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, gynecology, and general surgery.
• Act as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years RN Operating Room experience.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• Current Maryland or Compact State RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
