Registered Nurse - OR - PRN

Position Overview Provide professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.Perform scrub functions by selecting and handling instruments and supplies.Perform circulating duties such as monitoring patient condition, recording, communicating, and managing overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.Assist surgeons with tasks like hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures. Qualifications And Skills Licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.Minimum of a diploma from an accredited nursing program and at least one year of RN experience.
